Bernard-Hertz-Béjot was created in 1985 by lawyers from some of the most prominent French and American law firms. The firm currently has about twenty attorneys, including seven partners.
The firm is distinctly focused on the international practice of business law. All attorneys are bilingual or trilingual, and several partners are admitted in the United States or in Germany (the New York and Berlin bars). Moreover, all the firm's attorneys act both as counsels in commercial transactions and as advocates in litigation.
The firm's clients are mainly French companies and international groups who consult the firm for their own activities or those of their subsidiaries in France, as well as French companies carrying out activities abroad.

Given the size of the firm, each of our attorneys is able to specialize in a specific field, and each matter or project can be entrusted to attorneys with the special expertise requested. However, clients may choose to have a single partner contact in the law firm, who will coordinate and oversee all of their related work.
Bernard-Hertz-Béjot has developed a global network of correspondent law firms and service providers, including many of the most prominent law firms in their respective countries, and is able to provide first rate counsel and services to its clients in the main capitals and business centers throughout the world.
